How to play
- Every day there are five free word puzzles, from easy to hard. Everyone gets the same words.
- Guess each five-letter word in six tries. Press Enter to check a guess.
- After each guess, the tiles show how close you were:
B is in the word and in the right spot (solid colour, with a dot). R is in the word but somewhere else (stripes, with a ring). I, N and G aren't in the word (grey).
- Words that aren't in our list don't use up a try.
- Your shared result shows the colours, never the word.
- A new set of five arrives at midnight India time (IST), along with a new five-question pop quiz.
The pop quiz
Every day there are also five general knowledge questions. Each answer is marked straight away with a short explanation. Your first attempt is the one that counts; you can retake it for fun.
Streaks
Finish at least one puzzle or the quiz each day to keep your streak going. Your progress is saved in this browser, so use the same device to keep it.
